As an active member of his community, Scott served 13 of 18
years as President of Buck Fever,
past member of the Board of the Seguin Outdoor Learning Center,
Member of the Board of Appeals for the City of Seguin
and a past member of the Seguin Lions Club where he served as
President
and later transferred membership to the Geronimo Lions Club.
Scott’s passions were family, friends and hunting.
He loved nothing more than Hunting with his girls or spending
time with family and friends at the Ranch and the River Lot.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Hilbert “Middy”
Roessing, grandparents, Albert and Lillie Henk,
step-grandfather, Mike Schwerdtfeger and father-in-law, Melvin
Schumann.
Survivors include his loving wife, Darla Roessing; daughters and
lights of his life, Jessica Roessing and McKenna Roessing;
mother, Doris Roessing; brother, Ross Roessing and wife, Kim;
grandmother, Elmie Schwerdtfeger; aunts and uncles, Floyd and
Joann Henk, Clarence and Joyce Voss,
Harold and Barbara Henk, Norvin and Margot Roessing and Jesse
and Deloris Atzger;
mother-in–law, Bernice Hoffmann and husband, Paul;
sister-in-law, Rhonda Koenig and husband, Brad;
nephews, Reagan and Nathan Koenig; many other loving family
members and an entire grateful community of friends.
Serving as pallbearers were Brad Koenig, Neal Brodbeck, Eric
Ernst,
Brennan Knight, Scott Kolbe, Jay Voss, Russell Henk and Robert
Henk.
Serving as honorary pallbearers wer the Koehler Co. Board of
Directors and the Buck Fever Board of Directors.
