Buck Fever
President Scott Roessing passed away July 24, 2009.
Our Mission:
To
provide a program for adults and youth to exhibit their previous
years of deer harvest, exotic displays, and also to include
educational/commercial booths. The event consists of two
nights of family atmosphere, good food, fellowship, contests,
education and fun.
Our
Goal:
To put together outdoor hunting and fishing exhibits and
provide a place where outsdoorsmen/women can come together and
exchange bragging rights and hunting and fishing experiences. To
educate the youth about the wonderful world of the outdoors and
to learn to protect, preserve, and enjoy the wildlife, fish and
all of the native resources God has provided for all of us. In
addition, it is the goal of Buck Fever to raise money to enhance
and support youth programs in Guadalupe County.

Our
History:
A group of local folks in Seguin, Texas, who love
deer hunting, fishing and being in the wonderful world of the
outdoors
started Buck Fever in 1984. They wanted to tell their stories
and show off their mounts. They also envisioned a place for
local youth to be educated in the outdoors, and to experience
what they did when they were growing up and pass it on
to the next generation. Over the last 20+ years, Buck Fever has
grown and expanded into a true multi-generational
family event that kicks off each hunting season with great
enthusiasm.
Buck Fever is committed to carrying on the great
American tradition of hunting.
